As the 33rd Olympic Games kick off in Paris, a small piece of Denmark will simultaneously open its doors in the heart of the renowned city. Anchored by VisitDenmark, visitors can meet 22 Danish companies and organizations, showcasing the good life from various perspectives.

Throughout the 17 days of the Olympics, parts of Maison du Denmark and Frederikskirken, the Danish Church in Paris, will serve as a showcase for some of Denmark’s finest attributes. The Denmark Pavilion will come to life in collaboration with numerous companies and organizations, aiming to highlight Danish values and competencies, as well as Denmark as a desirable travel destination.

"Denmark is a small country with room for big ideas, and that’s what we want to show the world. This is reflected in the Danish Pavilion, which, with the help of Danish enthusiasts and innovative companies, creates a framework for a shared story about quality of life, culture, and community," says VisitDenmark CEO Katja Moesgaard.

Companies such as LEGO®, Bang & Olufsen, Nordisk, and GN Group view the Olympics in Paris as a valuable opportunity to engage with customers, partners, and the media.

"At GN Group, we strive to make a difference for people with hearing loss. They inspire us to develop and translate groundbreaking innovations into the hearing aids and solutions of the future. We look forward to being part of the Denmark Pavilion and showcasing how modern technology can create a framework for a better life," says Senior Vice President Peter Axel Villadsen from GN Group.

A total of 22 business enterprises, cultural attractions, destination companies, and organizations are participating. Numerous organizations have also contributed stories about Danish enthusiasts, ideas, and solutions within four Danish strengths: design, food, health, and sustainable solutions.

Sustainable solutions are also a key focus for another company participating in Paris. Nordisk develops and produces outdoor equipment inspired by nature.

"The Denmark Pavilion is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the quality of life that nature experiences provide us. Based on the Danish tradition of enjoying and caring for nature, we want to use Paris and the Olympics to inspire more people to embrace sustainable outdoor leisure. We believe Denmark has something truly unique to offer in this regard," says Else Sørup, Head of Global Marketing at Nordisk.
