Vandvid

Vandvid is a floating restaurant with focus on urban farming and local, organic food.

Vandvid is a restaurant experience in the South Habour of Copenhagen, where you eat your dinner inside a floating houseboat. Here they serve food made from fresh and organic ingredients, and during the summer you can eat your dinner outside on the deck. Restaurant Vandvid welcomes you onboard to a simple, delicious menu made of the freshest organic produce sourced from local providers. Or just to a coffee, a cold organic draft beer or a glass of wine.

The name of the restaurant 'Vandvid' translates in two ways: 'Water Wide' and 'Crazy' - because they are 3 slightly crazy and creative souls, who are making this dream come true together.

In the summertime they have facilities for swimming in the clean water of Copenhagen Harbour, and they grow some of the fresh herbs and vegetables right on board. They receive organic vegetables and top quality meat from producers at a small Danish island called Glænø.
