Surfspot: Hesselbjerg Beach
Hesselbjerg Beach (Østersøbadet) on South Langeland has excellent conditions for kite and windsurfing.
The area south of the jetty has great waves for kitesurfing and windsurfing.
Wind Direction: South, Southwest, West and Northwest.

Use the beach to launch your kite.
Be aware of the many bathers in the area (especially around the jetty) and always keep your distance.
Danger:
Strong currents may occur.
Several sandbars close to shore at low tide. Surf some distance from the shore to avoid changing direction waves close to the shore.
No large rocks in the area.
Vulnerable nature:
NOTE: Although tempting, it is not allowed to set up your kite on the large grassy area along the coast.
The nature here is very fragile and has a unique flora. Only set up your kite on the beach.
Park either in the large car park at Strandcaféen. Or use the small car parks along the gravel road.
Public toilets are located behind Strandcaféen.
