Hundested Sand Sculpture Park - Sand Art for the Whole Family
From May 17 to October 20, 2024, Hundested Sand Sculpture Park will once again transform the harbour in Hundested into a stunning display of sand art created by artists from around the world. This year, we offer an exciting program filled with art and entertainment for both young and old.
2024 Theme: Faith and Superstition – Anything is possible for those who believe
Faith and superstition have always been an integral part of human life. Since the dawn of time, we have gathered around stories rich in wisdom and morals – around campfires, aboard ships, and on the big screens. At Hundested Sand Sculpture Park, we invite you to experience these stories brought to life through the art of sand sculpting.
For the 13th consecutive year, we focus on human values and reflections. Perhaps you will discover golden truths in the sand sculptors' creations that speak to all of humanity.
Creative Activities for the Whole Family
Hundested Sand Sculpture Park was founded with the desire to create activity and vibrancy at the local harbour, with a view to the world. In addition to admiring the impressive sculptures, you can also try your hand at creating your own.
In the large children's area, the whole family can unleash their creativity with activities such as sand sculpting, sand painting, and treasure hunting. When it's time for a break, you can enjoy a packed lunch at the festival's many indoor and outdoor seating areas, or visit the cosy Café Skipperstuen, offering a wide selection of delicious refreshments.
Watch the Artists at Work
During the first opening days of the park, you have a unique opportunity to follow the artists as they create the large sand sculptures. Every day from 10 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 5 PM, you can get a glimpse into the creative process and witness how the artworks take shape.

Activities for the Whole Family
In both indoor and outdoor areas, you’ll find a large children's area where the family can enjoy a variety of activities:

Refreshments and Facilities
Ice cream, beer, water, coffee, etc., are available in the café. You are also welcome to bring your food, and there are both outdoor and indoor seating areas. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
Isefjord tickets
Round-trip ferry ticket Rørvig-Hundested for pedestrians includes admission to the Sand Sculpture Park. See the website for prices. The ticket can only be purchased at the ferry's ticket office in Rørvig and is valid only for passengers from the Rørvig side.
