Fishing ground | Jelse Odde

Jelse Odde is situated between Skive Fjord and Lovns Bredning and from this spot you can get close to the great number of fish migrating toward the streams Karup Å, Lerkenfeld, Simested, Skals Å etc. From the ground you can fish in Skive Fjord and Lovns Bredning. The best place for fishing is usually at the bottom of the point. At the eastern side the water level is deeper and the sea bed varies with pebbles, mussel reefs, and eelgrass, but there are fish at both sides of the point. The western side is best for fishing when the water level is past normal. You can park and find toilets at the end of Jelsevej.
