Danhostel Skanderborg

Danhostel Skanderborg is beautifully located in the middle of a large beech forest and directly by Skanderborg Lake. At the same time, it is not far from city life and attractions.

Danhostel Skanderborg offers a delicious breakfast buffet, private bathrooms, beautiful views, and plenty of activities. You can rent canoes or motorboats, order a picnic basket, or go fishing.

The hostel provides good bathing opportunities for children as the water is shallow.

The town is the oldest market town in the Lake District and has a long and interesting history, especially from its time as a royal city.

Over the years, the town has developed into a modern commercial town with many retail stores, cozy restaurants and cafes, small museums, and plenty of sports and cultural activities. With its close proximity to the Jutland motorway and being a railway hub, Skanderborg is also an ideal starting point for excursions to well-known attractions.
