Aarhus Jazz Festival
Like all good festivals the Aarhus Jazz Festival is continually evolving and has achieved international renown. The whole city is backing the eight days of jazz and at this festival you can experience more than 300 concerts at 30 different venues.
Jazz for everyone
Aarhus Jazz Festival is a festival where most concerts during daytime are free of charge for the audience. Normally you can enjoy jazz for children, jazz brunch, concerts with international stars and local musicians. Aarhus Jazz Festival presents all styles of jazz.
Aarhus Jazz Festival 2024
From 13-20 July, you can experience more than 300 jazz concerts at 40 different venues throughout Aarhus. This year, the festival has an extra focus on community, cohesion and the meeting between musicians.
The festival has therefore invited two guest artists in artist residency, drummer Emil de Waal and multi-instrumentalist Gustaf Ljunggren. You can experience the dynamic duo Saturday to Wednesday across the festival - in a variety of genre and musician encounters. Both with their own music and in meetings with various musicians, from the experienced forces of traditional jazz to younger jazz talents, who will take them out on the wild side.
